With the formal merger of the Customs and Inland Revenue departments into what is now the MCRS, all relevant information can now be found on this website. Let me at this point say how proud I am to have been able to lead the process that placed the MCRS on sound legal footing with the passing of the Montserrat Customs and Revenue Service (Enabling) Act in 2017 and to be the first local to be appointed as its Director General. I hereby pledge the unwavering commitment of myself and the rest of the management team that we will strive to serve the people of Montserrat and all our other stakeholders to the best of ability, with distinction and that we will strive to make this department one of the best of its kind in the region.”
